Looking for a New “Something Blue” Idea?

Try one of these fun twists on the old tradition:

Nail polish — in either a baby blue or midnight blue…on your toenails, of course, not your fingernails!

Shoes — look for dyeable shoes in a cute strappy sandal and custom color to your favorite shade of blue

Jewelry — now is a great time to borrow your mother’s (or grandmother’s) sapphires

Dress Embroidery — have your name or monogram and wedding date stitched to the inside lining of your gown

Bouquet Ribbon Embroidery — have your initial or monogram or wedding date embroidered on the satin ribbon used to tie your bouquet

And when all else fails…add a little blue into your lingerie or garter!¬† ūüėČ

We enjoyed a lovely fashion show at the Intercontinental Hotel in September.  These designer gowns are designed by Badgley Mischka and available at Stanley Korshak.

Lauren and Josh picked a beautiful July day — 7/11 — for their wedding.¬† Brenna worked hard to make sure the day went super-smoothly…and with this¬†fantastic¬†combination¬†of venues and vendors, it went perfectly.¬† Ceremony¬†– Perkins Chapel, Reception – Arlington Hall/Marisa Ritter, Photography – VIM Studio/Paul Dyer, Floral – Fete des Fleurs, Video –¬†Turquoise Video, Cakes – Frosted Art, and¬†Makeup¬†– Mayra Rams-Sanabria.
